Bridge renovation to disrupt services on Nov 22

Trivandrum: The following train services will be cancelled/ diverted/ regulated to facilitate the replacement of steel girders of a bridge in the Mavelikara – Chengannur Section with PSC girders, as detailed below.

FULL CANCELLATION

Train No. 66310 Kollam Junction – Ernakulam Junction Express scheduled to leave Kollam Jn. at 21.05 hrs. on 22nd November, 2025 will be fully cancelled.

PARTIAL CANCELLATION

1. Train No. 16327 Madurai – Guruvayur Express scheduled to leave Madurai at 11.35 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be short-terminated at Kollam. The train will be partially cancelled between Kollam and Guruvayur.
2. Train No. 16328 Guruvayur – Madurai Express scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 05.50 hrs on 23rd November, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Kollam. The train will originate from Kollam at its scheduled departure time of 12.10 hrs.
3. Train No. 16366 Nagercoil – Kottayam Express scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 13.00 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be short-terminated at Kayankulam Jn.. The train will be partially cancelled between Kayankulam Jn. and Kottayam.
4. Train No. 12695 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Superfast Express scheduled to leave MGR Chennai Central at 15.20 hrs on 21st November, 2025 will be short-terminated at Kottayam. The train will be partially cancelled between Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram Central.
5. Train No. 12696 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 17.15 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kottayam. The train will originate from Kottayam at its scheduled departure time of 20.05 hrs

DIVERSION

1. Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 15.00 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam and Tripunithura. The train will be provided with additional stoppage at Alappuzha, Cherthala, Ernakulam Jn.
2. Train No. 16312 Thiruvananthapuram North – Shri Ganganagar Weekly Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 15.45 on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Chengannur, Tiruvalla and Kottayam. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Alappuzha and Ernakulam.
3. Train No. 01464 Thiruvananthapuram North – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly Special scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 16.20 hrs. on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.
4. Train No. 16319 Thiruvananthapuram North – SMVT Bengaluru Humsafar Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 18.05 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Kayankulam, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.
5. Train No. 16629 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Malabar Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 18.40 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Piravom Road and Trippunithura. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.
6. Train No. 22503 Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Superfast Express scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari at 17.25 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Kayankulam, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.
7. Train No. 16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Rameswaram Amrita Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 20.30 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.
8. Train No. 16349 Thiruvananthapuram North – Nilambur Road Rajyarani Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 21.00 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. The train will be provided with additional stoppages at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn

Train No. 16347 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 20.55 hrs on 22nd November, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzh,a skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam and Piravam Road.
