Thrissur: The second and third phase of re-girdering of rail bridge at Pudukkad-Ollur section is scheduled on 26th May 2018(Saturday) and 27th May 2018(Sunday), with the regulation of train services mentioned below. Re-girdering is the process by which old steel girders of the rail bridge are replaced with new PSC girders to increase strength and safety. The final phase of the bridge re-girdering at Pudukkad-Ollur section will be carried out on 02.06.2018.

Chennai: Southern Railway Passenger Reservation System will be suspended as a part of Disaster Management and Recovery Drill for a brief period of 1 hour from 14.15 hrs. to 15.15 hrs. on 26th May 2018 and again for a period of 1 hour and 35 minutes from 23.45 hrs. of 26.05.2018 to 01.20 hrs. of 27th May 2018.
