Kottayam: Track doubling between Ettumanur, Kottayam and Chingavanam stations of the Ernakulam – Kottayam – Kayamkulam section is nearing completion with final stage works involving the integration of existing tracks, signals and overhead electrical systems to the newly constructed double line in a phased manner from 06th May, 2022 to 29th May, 2022. To facilitate traffic blocks, the following train services will be cancelled/diverted/regulated.

Partial cancellation of 16307 Kannur Executive from May 05-20
Ernakulam: Track maintenance works will be expedited between Kozhikode and West Hill stations of the Palakkad division from 05th May, 2022 to 20th May, 2022 (except on Mondays and Wednesdays). Consequently, Train No. 16307 Alappuzha – Kannur Executive Daily Express leaving Alappuzha on 05th, 06th, 07th, 08th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th May 2022, will be short terminated at Shoranur Jn. The train will not run between Shoranur Jn. and Kannur on the above-mentioned 12 dates.
