Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kochuveli Terminals are the major coach caring centres of Trivandrum division which are dealing with about 50 thousand passengers every day. More than four hundred coaches of Mail/Express and passenger trains are being cleaned and made ready for travel daily. The demand for water is about 12 Lakh litres and 3.5 lakh litres for Trivandrum and Kochuveli respectively. The division has been meeting the demand only through KWA supply since there is no water source available with the Railways.

Train No. 16791 Punalur-Palakkad Palaruvi Express will start at 03.25 hrs from Punalur to reach Palakkad junction at 13.20 hrs. In the return direction Train No. 16792 will start from Palakkad Jn at 16.00 hrs to reach Punalur at 01.20 hrs next day.
