In continuation with its earlier announcement of providing 10% rebate in the basic fare on the vacant berths / seats after preparation of first chart in Rajdhani / Duronto / Shatabdi trains, Indian Railways has decided to extend this rebate in the reserved class of all other trains w.e.f. 01.01.2017 on an experimental basis for six months. Experience high speed Wi-Fi at Trivandrum Central railway station
Trivandrum: Thiruvananthapuram Central (TVC) has become the fourth railway station in Kerala to offer free high speed Wi-Fi service. The facility was inaugurated by Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP at a function held on October 28, 2016. Ernakulam South (ERS), Thrissur (TCR) and Kozhikode (CLT) are the other railway stations in the State to offer free high speed Wi-Fi service to passengers.
