Trivandrum: The Railway Board has approved the introduction of following additional fully reserved daily special trains.
1. Train No. 06723 / 06724 Chennai Egmore – Kollam – Chennai Egmore Special Trains (Daily)
With a composition of One First Class cum 2-Tier AC Coach, One 2-Tier AC coach, Three 3-Tier AC coaches, Eleven Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General second Class Coaches, One General Second Class Designed for Divyang Jan & Luggage Cum Brake van and One Luggage Cum Brake van, Train No. 06723 Chennai Egmore – Kollam special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 20.10 hrs. and reach Kollam at 13.15 hrs. the next day. The first service from Chennai Egmore will be on 03rd October, 2020.
In the Return Direction, Train No. 06724 Kollam – Chennai Egmore Special train will leave Kollam at 15.00 hrs. and reach Chennai Egmore at 08.10 hrs. the next day. The first service from Kollam will be on 04th October, 2020.
Train No. 06724 Kollam – Chennai Egmore Superfast special train will stop at Mambalam.
2. Train No. 02639 / 02640 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Alappuzha – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Superfast Special Trains (Daily)
With a composition of One First Class cum 2-Tier AC Coach, Two 2-Tier AC coaches, Four 3-Tier AC coaches, Eleven Sleeper Class Coaches, Two General second Class Coaches, One General Second Class Designed for Divyang Jan & Luggage Cum Brake van and One Luggage Cum Brake van, Train No. 02639 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Alappuzha Superfast special train will leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 20.55 hrs. and reach Alappuzha at 10.45 hrs. the next day. The first service from Dr. MGR Chennai Central will be on 02nd October, 2020.
In the Return Direction, Train No. 02640 Alappuzha – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Superfast Special train will leave Alappuzha at 16.05 hrs. and reach Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 05.50 hrs. the next day. The first service from Alappuzha will be on 03rd October, 2020.
Train No. 02639 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Alappuzha Superfast special train will stop at Idappalli.
Train No. 02640 Alappuzha – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Superfast special train will stop at Avadi and Perambur.
3. Train No. 06187 / 06188 Karaikal – Ernakulam Jn – Karaikal Special Trains (Daily)
With a composition of One 2-Tier AC coach, Two 3-Tier AC coaches, Eight Sleeper Class Coaches, Five General second Class Coaches, One General Second Class Designed for Divyang Jan & Luggage Cum Brake van and One Luggage Cum Brake van, Train No. 06187 Karaikal – Ernakulam special train will leave Karaikal at 16.20 hrs. and reach Ernakulam Jn at 07.00 hrs. the next day. The first service from Karaikal will be on 04th October, 2020.
In the Return Direction, Train No. 06188 Ernakulam – Karaikal Special train will leave Ernakulam Jn at 22.30 hrs. and reach Karaikal at 12.10 hrs. the next day. The first service from Ernakulam Jn will be on 03rd October, 2020.
Train No. 06187 Karaikal – Ernakulam Jn special train will stop at Uttukuli and Wadakancheri.
The reservations for the above trains will open at 08.00 hrs on 01 October 2020.
