Ernakulam: Following the derailment of a goods train running towards Ernakulam between Pudukkad-Irinjalakkuda stations in Shoranur-Ernakulam (down line) section, the following trains are fully/partially cancelled.
There are no causalities or injuries to railway staff or public. Traffic was restored immediately through the unaffected track (up line) section. Traffic restoration work is progressing.
FULL CANCELLATION
1. Train No. 16302 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shoranur Junction Venad Express will be fully cancelled on 12th February, 2022.
2. Train No. 06017 Shoranur Junction – Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express will be fully cancelled on 12th February, 2022.
3. Train No. 16326 Kottayam – Nilambur Express will be fully cancelled on 12th February, 2022.
PARTIAL CANCELLATION
1. Train No. 16341 Guruvaryur – Thiruvananthapuram Intercity Express will commence service from Ernakulam Jn. instead of Guruvayur on 12th February, 2022. The train will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Ernakulam Jn.
2. Train No. 16328 Guruvayur – Punalur Express will commence service from Trippunithura instead of Guruvayur on 12th February, 2022. The train will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Trippunithura.
3. Train No. 16791 Tirunelveli – Palakkad Palaruvi Express leaving Tirunelveli at 23.20 hrs. on 11th February, 2022 will be short terminated at Kollam Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Kollam Jn. and Palakkad Jn. on 12th February, 2022.
