Ernakulam: The following train services will be diverted/regulated due to corridor blocks scheduled for track renewal works in the Kumbalam–Thuravur section (between Ernakulam Jn. and Alappuzha stations).
DIVERSION OF TRAINS
1. Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Daily Express, leaving Guruvayur on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, and 20th of September 2024, will be diverted to run via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, and Alappuzha. Additional stoppages will be provided at Kottayam, Changanassery, Thiruvalla, and Chengannur for passengers’ convenience.
2. Train No. 16355 Kochuveli – Mangaluru Junction Antyodaya Biweekly Express, leaving Kochuveli on the 7th, 9th, and 12th of September 2024, will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Kottayam, skipping stoppages at Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn. Temporary additional stoppages will be provided at Kottayam and Ernakulam North for the convenience of passengers.
3. Train No. 12697 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Superfast Express, leaving MGR Chennai Central on the 8th of September 2024, will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn. to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. and Alappuzha. The train will stop at Ernakulam Town and Kottayam in the diverted route, for the convenience of passengers.
REGULATION OF TRAINS
1. Train No. 16603 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Maveli Daily Express, leaving Mangaluru Central on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, and 20th of September 2024, will be delayed by 1 hour en route.
