Partial Cancellation/Diversion of Train Services

Trivandrum: Additional Fixed Time Corridor Block has been approved in Thiruvananthapuram Division for March 2026, hence the following changes have been made in the pattern of train services:-

Partial Cancellation/Short Termination of Train Services:

1. Train No. 12695 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Superfast Express, scheduled to leave Dr MGR Chennai Central at 15.20 hrs on 13th March, 2026, will be short-terminated at Kottayam. The train is partially cancelled between Kottayam and Thiruvananthapuram Central
2. Train No. 12696 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express, scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 17.15 hrs on 14th March, 2026, will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kottayam. The train will originate from Kottayam at its scheduled departure time of 20.05 hrs
3. Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 10.20 hrs on 12th March, 2026, will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil town and Guruvayur. The train will be short-terminated at Nagercoil town.
4. Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express, scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 23.15 hrs on 13th March, 2026, will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Nagercoil town. The train will originate from Nagercoil town at its scheduled departure time of 06.33 hrs.

Diversion of Train Services:

1. Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 15.00 hrs on 14th March, 2026, will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam and Tripunittura. Additional stoppages will be provided at Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn.
2. Train No. 22503 Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Superfast Express, scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari at 17.25 hrs on 14th March, 2026, will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Kayankulam, Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.
