Trivandrum: The following train services will be diverted/regulated as mentioned below from 16th November 2019 to 10th December 2019 (Except on Thursdays), for mechanized track maintenance works in Cherthala-Turavur single line section.
DIVERSION of TRAIN SERVICES via KOTTAYAM
1. Train No. 16603 Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express leaving Mangalore Jn. on 15th, 16th,17th,18th,19th,21st,22nd,23rd,24th,25th,26th,28th,29th and 30th November, 01st, 02nd, 03rd, 05th, 06th, 07th, 08th and 09th December 2019 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. Turavur, Cherthala, Mararikulam, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad. In the diverted route the train will stop at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, and Chengannur. There will be no diversion for the train services leaving Mangalore Jn. on 20th, 27th November and 04th November 2019.
2. Train No. 12432 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin Station on 17th, 20th,24th,25th,27th November, 01st, 04th and 08th December 2019 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. and Alappuzha. In the diverted route the train will stop at Ernakulam Town and Kottayam.
3. Train No. 22207 MGR Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram AC Superfast Express leaving MGR Chennai Central Station on 15th,19th,22nd,26th,29th November, 03rd and 06th December 2019 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. and Alappuzha. In the diverted route the train will stop at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur and Kayamkulam Jn.
REGULATION of TRAIN SERVICES
1. Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express will be regulated for 1 hour 50 minutes at Cherthala on 16th,17th,18th,19th,20th,22nd,23rd,24th,25th,26th,27th,29th and 30th November, 01st, 02nd, 03rd, 04th, 06th, 07th, 08th, 09th and 10th December 2019.
2. Train No. 22655 Thiruvananthapuram – Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly Express will be regulated for 40 minutes at Cherthala on 20th, 27th November, and 04th December 2019.
