Kollam-Tirupati Express flag off & TVC-Kasaragod Vande Bharat extension

Trivandrum: A new Kollam-Tirupati Express train will be flagged off tomorrow by the Prime Minister online while the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat Express via Alappuzha will be extended up to Mangaluru Central. This was informed by Dr Manish Thaplyal, Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Central today at a press meeting.

In Thiruvananthapuram Division, 14 One Station One Product stalls, the Goods shed at Valliyur and the newly Electrified Double Line between Melappalayam and Tirunelveli will be dedicated tomorrow.

The regular service of Train Nos 20631/20632 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central will start on 13th March from both ends. To accommodate the passengers who have already booked, this train will be operated on all days till 4th July 2024, after which it will be operated on six days a week (Except Wednesday).

The regular service of Train No. 17421/17422 Tirupati – Kollam – Tirupati will commence ex. Tirupati on and from 15.03.2024 and ex. Kollam on and from 16.03.2024.
