Trivandrum: To facilitate hassle-free current booking of Vande Bharat Express trains at en route stations, Southern Railway has implemented a systemic improvement. For eight services of Vande Bharat trains originating in the zone, certain modifications have been effected in the Passenger Reservation System with effect from 17 July 2025.
For the eight Vande Bharat trains originating from the Southern Railway, current reservations can be done at enroute stations up to 15 minutes before the departure. This facility was limited earlier, curtailing the passengers from booking from enroute stations once the train leaves the Source station. With the new system in place, such vacant accommodations will now be made available for the current booking of Vande Bharat Trains at enroute stations, significantly benefiting passengers and enabling better train occupancy.
This modification is being done in the Passenger Reservation System with effect from 17.07.2025 for eight Vande Bharat under SR, including those trains running in Kerala, for the benefit of passengers:

2. 20632 Thiruvananthapuram Central- Mangaluru Central Vande Bharat Express
