Railways announce passenger specials between Kottayam and Ernakulam
Trivandrum: Alternate arrangements for the convenience of passengers in view of changes in train services. As part of the doubling works between Chingavanam – Changanaseri in Kottayam – Kayankulam section, the final stage of works are in progress. This has necessitated changes in the pattern of train services.

Trivandrum: Deep screening of track structure by tamping machines effectively improves safety and durability of track points/crossings at station yards(Station limits). On completion of the ongoing tamping works at Sasthankotta yard, the machines will be shifted to expedite track maintenance works at Karunagapally yard from 14th December 2018. In this connection following traffic regulations will be introduced in the first phase between 14.12.2018 and 19.12.2018.
