Trivandrum: 21 railway stations in Kerala have been approved under the Eat Right Railway Station project, one of the initiatives under the Eat Right India Movement led by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to ensure safe food for passengers.

Restoration of train services after Cyclone Michaung
Chennai: Cyclone Michaung has brought unprecedented rainfall to the city of Chennai and its suburban areas. This has wreaked havoc on the lives of the people of Chennai and the train operations from and to Chennai. Southern Railway had to cancel several train services because of the water rising above danger levels in many railway bridges and the submergence of tracks in many areas of Chennai city and its suburban areas.
