Trivandrum: Due to adverse weather conditions that developed this morning in the Nagercoil – Kanniyakumari section, train services are disrupted in the Neyyatinkara – Kanniyakumari section. Overhead traction supply has been interrupted at eight various locations in the section due to fallen/uprooted trees. Restoration works are being done by removing fallen trees and ensuring the safety of overhead wires. All essential resources and manpower have been mobilized by the division to ensure safety and restoration of normal traffic. Trivandrum: Due to heavy rush in trains during Sabarimala festive season, there will be a restriction in issuing unreserved sleeper tickets for passengers till 15th December 2017 for the below-mentioned trains. On account of reports of the dispute between daytime unreserved sleeper tickets holders and reserved pilgrims in sleeper coaches, issue of unreserved sleeper tickets has been restricted during daytime in these trains till 15.12.2017.
