Kottayam: In order to expedite track doubling works between Ettumanur and Chingavanam stations (Ernakulam – Kottayam – Kayamkulam section), the next phase of train traffic regulations will be in force from 12th May 2022 to 28th May 2022. The following trains will be diverted as detailed below.

Ettumanur-Chingavanam doubling work to affect services from May 06
Kottayam: Track doubling between Ettumanur, Kottayam and Chingavanam stations of the Ernakulam – Kottayam – Kayamkulam section is nearing completion with final stage works involving the integration of existing tracks, signals and overhead electrical systems to the newly constructed double line in a phased manner from 06th May, 2022 to 29th May, 2022. To facilitate traffic blocks, the following train services will be cancelled/diverted/regulated.
