Trivandrum: IRCTC South Zone has launched an exclusive Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, for the tourists which consist of 04- Three Tier AC coaches, 07- Sleeper Coaches, 01- pantry car, and 02- power car with a total of 14 coaches. In the maiden run of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train named ‘Punya Teerth Yathirai’, the train starting from Kochuveli on May 04, 2023 would cover Puri – Konark– Kolkata – Gaya – Varanasi – Ayodhya – Allahabad and return to Kochuveli on May 15, 2023.

New DRMs for Thiruvananthapuram & Palakkad Divisions
Trivandrum: Shri Sachinder Mohan Sharma IRSME and Shri Yashpal Singh Tomar IRSSE have taken charge as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad Divisions respectively under Southern Railway. Shri Sharma succeeds Shri R Mukund IRSME as the TVC DRM while Shri Tomar took over from Shri Trilok Kothari.
