Trivandrum: The Railway Board has approved introduction of additional five pairs of fully reserved weekly/bi-weekly special trains for the convenience of passengers.
1. Train No.01223/01224 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Ernakulam – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Biweekly Superfast DURONTO Special:
Train No.01223 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Ernakulam Jn. Biweekly Superfast Duronto Special Train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 20.50 hrs. from 16th March, 2021 to 05th June, 2021 and reach Ernakulam Jn. at 18.10 hrs, the next day.
In the return direction Train No.01224 Ernakulam Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Biweekly Superfast Duronto Special will leave Ernakulam Jn. on Wednesdays and Sundays at 21.30 hrs from 17th March, 2021 to 06th June, 2021 and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 18.15 hrs., the next day.
Stoppages(In both direction): Kozhikode, Mangalore Jn., Madgaon Jn. and Ratnagiri.

In the return direction 02697 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Superfast Special will leave MGR Chennai Central on Sundays at 15.10 hrs. from 04th April, 2021 and reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 06.50 hrs., the next day.

In the return direction Train No 06130 Banaswadi – Ernakulam Jn. Bi-Weekly Superfast Special will leave Banaswadi on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 19.00 hrs. from 06th April, 2021 and reach Ernakulam at 06.00 hrs. the next day.
