It is proposed to conduct more intensive ticket checking to combat ticketless travel. Ticketless travel is increasing among students, and in the wake of college /school reopening, an intensive ticket-checking campaign is planned. Ticketless travel not only undermines the railways’ revenue but also affects the overall passenger experience. We urge all passengers to cooperate with the ticket-checking staff and ensure they have valid tickets while travelling”, said the DRM in a press release.
