Diversion & Partial Cancellation of trains on Feb 26

Ernakulam: To facilitate the final phase of commissioning the Electronic Interlocking Panel at Kumbalam Railway Station, the following changes will be implemented:

Train Diversion

1. Train No. 22645 Indore Junction – Thiruvananthapuram North Ahilyanagari Express, which departed from Indore on 24th February 2025, will be diverted via Kottayam on 26th February 2025. The train will not stop at Ernakulam Jn, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha, and Haripad. Instead, additional stoppages will be provided at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, and Mavelikkara.

2. Train No. 16345 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Thiruvananthapuram Central Netravati Express, which departed from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11:40 hrs on 25th February 2025, will also be diverted via Kottayam on 26th February 2025. The train will skip stoppages at Ernakulam Jn, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha, and Haripad. Additional stoppages will be provided at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, and Mavelikkara.

Partial Cancellation

1. Train No. 16308 Kannur – Alappuzha Executive Express, departing from Kannur at 05:10 hrs on 26th February 2025, will be short-terminated at Ernakulam Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Ernakulam Jn and Alappuzha.

2. Train No. 16307 Alappuzha – Kannur Executive Express, scheduled to depart from Alappuzha at 15:50 hrs on 26th February 2025, will instead originate from Ernakulam Jn at 17:15 hrs. The train will not run between Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn.

Regulation

Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Daily Express, which departed from Dhanbad on 24th February 2025, will be delayed by approximately 2 hours en route on 26th February 2025.
