Kollam: In connection with the ongoing redevelopment works at Kollam Junction Railway Station, access from the main entry will be restricted and rerouted in the interest of passenger safety and to expedite the construction works.
Accordingly, the pathway between the old Parcel Office and the existing ticket counter at Kollam Junction Railway Station will remain closed completely with effect from Saturday, April 25, 2026, until further notice.
Passengers shall use the existing pathway located behind the Canara Bank ATM and also the newly created pathway between the new Parcel Office and the Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) for all entry and exit movements. Passengers are requested to strictly follow the signage and instructions posted on site and extend their cooperation in adhering to the revised arrangements to ensure safety and facilitate the timely completion of the redevelopment works.
The ongoing works are to upgrade Kollam Junction Railway Station with enhanced passenger amenities, improved accessibility, and modern infrastructure, ensuring a safer, more convenient, and comfortable travel experience for all.
