Trivandrum: Railways would operate the following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic.
1. Special fare special trains between Kochuveli – Mangalore Jn.
Train No. 06053 Kochuveli – Mangalore Jn. special fare special train will leave Kochuveli at 18.35 hrs. on 01st, 08th, 15th, 22nd & 29th December 2017 and reach Mangalore Jn. at 05.10 hrs. the next day.
Train No. 06054 Mangalore Jn. – Kochuveli special fare special train will leave Mangalore Jn. at 15.40 hrs. on 03rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st December 2017 and reach Kochuveli at 05.00 hrs. the next day.
Composition: AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 7, General Second Class – 3 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages: Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Shoranur, Kozhikkode, Kannur and Kasargod.
2. Superfast AC weekly special between Kochuveli – Hazrat Nizamuddin.
Train No. 04426 Nizamuddin – Kochuveli Superfast AC weekly special train will leave Nizamuddin at 05.55 hours on 04/11/2017 to 25/11/2017 on all Saturdays to arrive Kochuveli at 11.00 hours on the following Mondays. (4 services)
Train No. 04425 Kochuveli – Nizamuddin superfast AC weekly special train will leave Kochuveli at 23.00 hours on 06/11/2017 to 27/11/2017 on all Mondays and arrive Nizamuddin at 03.00 hours on the following Thursdays. (4 services)
