Trivandrum: John Thomas, General Manager, Southern Railway met Kerala Governor, Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, TVC DRM & other officials during his first visit to Trivandrum today.
John Thomas called on His Excellency Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor of Kerala in the morning and met Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala and held discussions. He also met Tom Jose, IAS, Chief Secretary of Kerala.
Later, he visited the Divisional Railway Manager’s office at Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram. He held a meeting with Shirish Kumar Sinha, Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Division, P Jayakumar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Division and other railway officers. During the meeting, the General Manager reviewed the performance of the Thiruvananthapuram Division and suggested ways to further improve the performance of the Division.
Furthermore, officials from KRDCL (Kerala Rail Development Corporation Ltd.) called on the General Manager at Divisional Railway Manager’s Office and discussed KRDCL projects in the State.
