Trivandrum: The following train services will be diverted due to traffic block for safety-related track maintenance works in Alappuzha – Ernakulam section from 23rd January 2020 to 10th February 2020 (Except on Fridays and 25th January 2020).
A. Diversion of Train Services via Kottayam
1. Train No.16603 Mangalore – Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express leaving Mangalore Jn. on 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31 January and 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 07, 08 & 09 February, 2020 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. Turavur, Cherthala, Mararikulam, Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha and Haripad. The train will stop at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam and Chengannur in the diverted route.
2. Train No.12432 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin station on 21, 26, 28 January and 02 & 04 February, 2020 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. and Alappuzha. The train will stop at Ernakulam Town and Kottayam in the diverted route.
3. Train No.22207 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram AC Superfast Express leaving MGR Chennai Central on 28, 31 January and 04 & 07 February, 2020 will be diverted between Ernakulam Town and Kayamkulam Jn to run via Kottayam, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. and Alappuzha. The train will stop at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur and Kayamkulam Jn. in the diverted route.
B. Regulation of a Train Service
· Train No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express will be regulated for 55 minutes at Turavur / Kumbalam from 23.01.2020 to 10.02.2020, except on Fridays and 25.01.2020.
