Trivandrum: The following train services will be partially cancelled/diverted due to traffic regulations for track maintenance works at Madurai Junction Railway Station.
PARTIAL CANCELLATION
1. Train No.16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Madurai Junction Amritha Daily Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram on 06th and 07th February 2023 will be short-terminated at Kudal Nagar. ie. The train will be partially cancelled between Kudal Nagar and Madurai Jn..
2. Train No.16344 Madurai Junction – Thiruvananthapuram Central Amritha Daily Express will commence service from Kudal Nagar instead of Madurai Jn. on 06th, 07th and 08th February 2023. ie. The train will be partially cancelled between Madurai Jn. and Kudal Nagar.
3. Train No.16729 Madurai Junction – Punalur Daily Express will commence service from Tirunelveli Jn. instead of Madurai Jn. on 06th, 07th and 08th February 2023. ie. The train will be partially cancelled between Madurai Jn. and Tirunelveli Jn..
4. Train No.16730 Punalur – Madurai Express leaving Punalur on 06th and 07th February 2023 will be short-terminated at Tirunelveli Jn. ie. The train will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Madurai.
EN ROUTE DIVERSION
Train No. 16128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Express leaving Guruvayur on 06th and 07th February 2023 will be diverted between Virudhunagar Jn. and Tiruchchirappalli Jn. to run via Manamadurai Jn. – Karaikudi, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Madurai Jn., Sholavandan, Dindigul Jn. and Manaparai. Additional stoppages will be provided at Manamadurai Jn, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi Jn. and Pudukkottai stations.
