Trivandrum: The following train services will be diverted via Alappuzha for facilitating girder replacement on Rail Bridge No. 280 in the Chingavanam – Kottayam, as detailed below.
Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 15.00 hrs. on 20th September, 2025, will be diverted to run via Alappuzha. The train will skip its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanasseri, Kottayam and Tripunithura. Additional stoppages will be provided at Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam for the convenience of passengers.
Train No. 16312 Thiruvananthapuram North – Shri Ganganagar Weekly Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 15.45 hrs on 20th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn for the convenience of passengers.
Train No. 16319 Thiruvananthapuram North – SMVT Bengaluru Humsafar Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 18.05 hrs. on 20th September, 2025 will be diverted to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Chengannur, Thiruvalla and Kottayam.
