Ernakulam: A new Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) service will start between Ernakulam Junction (ERS) & Cochin Harbour Terminus (CHT) stations shortly. The Locomotive Workshop at Perambur has taken great effort in readying three 220-year-old700 HP Diesel Multiple Units into swanky new ones by refurbishing the same.
