Hyderabad: The service of special trains in Hyderabad – Kochuveli – Hyderabad and Hyderabad –Ernakulam – Hyderabad sectors has been extended, as detailed below. WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN HYDERABAD AND KOCHUVELI
Ernakulam: The coach composition of following train services will be permanently revised by adding One AC 3-Tier coach instead of One Sleeper Coach. 1. Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express will be upgraded with One AC 3-Tier instead of Sleeper Coach from 23rd April 2020.
1. Train No. 06015 Ernakulam Junction –Velankanni Weekly Special Train No.06015 from Ernakulam – Velankanni Weekly Special will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 11.00 hrs on Saturdays, 04th January 2020 to 28th March 2020 and reach Velankanni at 07.00 hrs. the next day.
Trivandrum: The following special trains will be operated to clear the rush of passengers. Train No. 06028 Kochuveli – MGR Chennai Central Special
Trivandrum: Train No.12507 / 12508 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Silchar – Thiruvananthapuram Central Aronai weekly express trains are now running via Chennai Central railway station. These trains are to be diverted via Perambur, with a stoppage at Perambur, by-passing Chennai Central.
Trivandrum: The Union Government has given in-principle approval to Kerala’s ambitious Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Semi High-Speed Rail (SHSR) corridor project. The order in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Railways, which was conveyed to Kerala Chief Secretary, Tom Jose IAS.
Trivandrum: One Sleeper Class coach will be removed from and instead one AC 3-tier coach will be added to the following express trains as part of the change in composition, as detailed below.
Ernakulam: Due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate safety-related track maintenance works between Shertalai – Turavur in Alappuzha – Ernakulam section, train services will be regulated as detailed below.
Trivandrum: The following train services will be diverted via KOTTAYAM due to traffic block for safety-related track maintenance in Alappuzha-Ernakulam single line section from 15th December 2019 to 13th January 2020 (Except on Thursdays).
