Due to poor patronage, the following services of Kochbuveli – Puducherry – Kochuveli weekly special fare specials are cancelled:
1.Train No. 06052 Kochuveli – Puducherry Special fare Special from 4.5.17 to 29.6.17.
2.Train No. 06051 Puducherry – Kochuveli Special fare special from 4.5.17 to 29.6.17.
In lieu of the above and with a view to clear extra rush of traffic on the Kochuveli – Chennai Egmore sector the following weekly special trains will run during summer 2017 as detailed below:
Train No.06066 Kochuveli – Chennai Egmore weekly special fare special (via Nagercoil Town & Tirunelveli) will leave Kochuveli at 05.10 hours from 4.5.17 to 29.6.17 (Thursdays) and will reach Chennai Egmore at 21.45 hours on the same day.
In the return direction, Train No 06065 Chennai Egmore – Kochuveli weekly special fare special (via Tirunelveli & Nagercoil Town) will leave Chennai Egmore at 23.45 hours from 4.5.17 to 29.6.17(Thursdays) and will reach Kochuveli at 15.55 hrs on Fridays.
The composition of above trains is One 3-AC, Eight Sleeper class, Eight General Second class & Two Sleeper-cum-brake van coaches, with the stoppages at Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kulithurai, Nagercoil Town, Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Vridhdhachalam, Villupuram Chengalpattu & Tamabram.
